This week in my reading group we have been learning about hearing. We had to make a poster on canva or a google drawing. I made a hearing poster on canva because it had everything I needed. I got alot of information from sites that my teacher put on my reading group. I also decorated it so that it shows what it means. I am also very happy with my work because I learnt about our hearing. I also hope you learn something from my blog post!

In room 9 we have been doing afor and against statements that is about agreeing or disagreeing with something. Our teacher Whaea Miki made a slide about statements that had ideas. She made it like a game and each slide some people agreed and disagreed. My favourite was kids should get banned because I thought about it and I said ads come up on the television and kids kept asking their perents. That also makes them lose money so I think they should get banned. This question is also on my work that I will be showing you!

In room 9 we have been doing swimming for 2 week and this is the last day but I will telling you what I have learnt in swimming lately. I liked learning how to do bubble and breath without a bored but it pretty hard cause I wasn't breathing very good and I started to panic so I had to stop. My friends also had trouble to but we all tried to do our best. My favourtie thing I did was I jumped in the pool because I found it fun. What I didn't like is that I was stuggling to breath and thats what made me not want to go swimming for a day because I felt like I had to have a break. I also didn't like how I had to flip over in the water because I got forced to do it but I tried. my goal was to do bubble and breath without a bored.

Today in room 9 we have been going on kiwi kids news to find facts about the things we didn't know. We had to choose one fun fact and awnser the question it had bellow them. I choosed about Russain people giving animals a covid vaccine because it sounded very intresting and it was a little nice a easy. We had to make a google doc and cop the qustion into the google doc. Welcome to another blog post and today I will be talking about swimming! What I didn't like about swimming is I was kind of stuggling with my breathing but I tried my best to breath and relax in the pool. what I did like it that it was hot today so we got to get in the pool so I was happy that we went for a swim lesson because we got to get into the coldish warmish water. My instructor was sue she was very good at teaching us because how she was explaining it made me understand it more. We also play this game called helloween and scary. we had to swim to the end of the swimming pool but not the whole pool because we had no time but we are going to swim all the way to the deep area tomorrow! I didn't really learn something in swimming but its okay. What I learnt today is we went on kiwi kids and shearched up animals and it came up with Russian people giving animals a covid vaccine. I was suprised because I never thought that woud exsit but that what I learnt today on kiwi kids. A goal I am focusing on is to get a bit better at my math because I want to go higher up to my level of year that is right now or next year.

In room 9 we have been doing narritive writing this term. How we got into our narritive writing we had to look at videos of narrtive writing before we did it beacuse we wouldn't understand it at first. One of my favourite sentences was I screamed so loud like hundred of billons were popping every bit of voice. One thing I would inprove it is it should of put more describing

Today in my reading group called griffindor W.A.L.T be safe in the water at all times. In my group we made a poster about water safety. How we would make it is we would do it on paper or our chrome book but I choose to do it on my chromebook becauase I found it easier for me to finsh it. how to be safe in the water is you should look out for warming signs,keep on eye on kids,wear sunscreen and wear a life jaket so you can float in the water while swimming so it wont be harder for you. In room 9 we are going to be writing about what we did in the holidays or term 3 holiday. I'm writing about looking forward to do something fun in term 3. On the 21 of August I will be going to Auckland for 6 days or 5. I am going to Auckland is because for my nephew's birthday and on my his birthday we could be going to a restaurant or going to timezone. We are also going to be living with my oldest brother Steve because my sisters house is really full but we will be meeting them sometimes. We will also being going to rainbows end with the whole family. When we go to rainbows end all the boys are going all together and then all the girls will be going all together. But the kids will be going with the parents for a little bit of time but this is what I am going to be in the term 3 for rainbows end, Nephew's birthday and restaurant or timezone.
